Junior Surf Sport

Our U8 - U10 members can choose to attend carnivals and compete in various water and beach events. At this age, they don't participate in any additional club training aside from Sunday surf and the focus is still on gaining confidence, building skills and learning what carnivals are all about.

Junior Surf Sport

Our Junior Surf Sport programme offers additional training for U11-U14 members wanting to focus on developing their racing skills for carnivals. The squads are run by experienced coaches, and athletes are put into two training groups based on a combination of age and ability.

Training sessions are a combination of board and diamond (board/swim) depending on the weather and surf conditions.
Note: most athletes don't own their own paddleboards, instead the club allocates them a board that is 'theirs' for the season.
